Project in Saikhan Soum Bulgan

Saikhan Soum is a small county in Bulgan, Mongolia with a population of about 3,700 and only one school. It is rare for students in Saikhan Soum to have access to computers.

The Mongolian Heritage Society has worked with the school of Saikhan Soum before to add books to its library collection. Now, we are seeking donations to build a computer lab in order to expand students’ learning opportunities and connect students to a greater community. In addition to this computer lab, we are seeking donated books to further grow the school’s library. The current donation goal is $15,000. With this money, the school would receive five computers, a Rosetta Stone learning subscription, new books, and we would ensure that the school will always have internet connection.
